You know how commercials for drugs usually list all these warnings on them, kinda of like used car ads have all that legal fine print where the announcer speaks really, really fast? Well, on drugs, the fine print are usually the negative side effects of the drug, right?
This one said: “You shouldn’t take this medication if you are at risk for pregnancy.”
Okay, I understand having warning signs and risks for diabetes. I can see having warning signs and risks for heart disease. But how are you at risk for pregnancy? I guess, if you’re out walking in the mall, and a man falls and his penis slips into your vagina, you are at risk for pregnancy.
… well, okay, I mean, I suppose it makes sense, but am I alone in thinking that this is a really weird way to word this?
Also, ‘warning signs’ that you are at risk for becoming pregnant?
- You’re a woman.
- You have working female reproductive organs.
- You had sex with a man who has working male reproductive organs.
There are other signs that you are actually pregnant, but seriously, what are the warning signs that you could BECOME pregnant?
I’m pretty sure getting pregnant isn’t contagious, in the traditional sense, though I have noticed that it seems pregnancy does indeed happen in ‘batches’. Seriously, it seems one girl gets pregnant and then several more around her pop up pregnant shortly thereafter.
Maybe pregnancy is contagious?
I do know, though, contagious or not, pregnancy is sexually transmitted.
Well, at least most of the time.
Pregnancy can kill you, so apparently, it is at least partially potentially fatal. Pregnancy can be terminated, so apparently it can be ‘cured’. So, okay, I’m kinda wondering if that means that babies are parasites. They invade the host body for several months before the body purges it. Does that mean that human beings are all diseases that could be cured? Is that what death is, the “cure” for life?
Okay, I think I’ve carried this line of crazy thought to it’s illogical conclusion.
Ya’ll have a great day!
Love and stuff,
